The bagel sandwich lunches at Einstein Bros. hits the spot! I initially came in because it was convenient and I was short on time. It was a clean, chill environment. I'm avoiding deli meat at the moment so the lady behind the counter helped me craft a veggie sandwich that met my needs and still had lots of flavor. I appreciated the courtesy and time she took with me. Visits after continue to show me the same quality food & service and because its not nearly as busy as the coffee place across the way it's a great place for lunch meetings or studying. I love bagels for breakfast and EB is great in that department. Now I consider them a serious lunch contender, too. PS - am seeing reviews criticizing that this place is a chain. Well...yeah. You knew that when you walked in. Low marks just for being a chain is like criticizing a PB&J sandwich for not being a roast beef on rye. It's not meant to be a roast beef samich. :) The question really should be: is it the best damn PB&J you've ever had, or not?

Peeve- staff was cleaning up the place like one and a half hours before close time. Like- pretzel bagel, it's yummy and salted

I go to this Einsteins about once a week I'd say (please, I'm too lazy to make my own breakfast) and I really like this location! Although it does get crowded around 7 to 8, it makes sense because we're all going to work :) The one thing that is exemplary about this location is that I've yet to see them run out of any type of bagel! The coffee is hot and fresh, as well as the bagels, so I really don't mind the bit of wait.

Ambiance: Generic chain. A few tables and a few booths, with three outdoor tables as well. You line up at the counter, and then wait off to the side for your order (or from your seat if you are dining in.) Can get very crowded from about 8am - 930am (which means people standing all around your table as you eat, as they wait for their names to be called.) Service: Friendly, but during the morning time, slow as molasses. They have many people working, and they all seem to be rushing around, but still the time between you order at the register and your name is called can be up to 15 minutes (too long to wait for one toasted bagel.) Something is either not working on their assembly line behind the counter, or they need to hire more employees, or they need several more toaster ovens available. Wait times at lunch are much more reasonable. Food: Pretty decent bagels. Their specialty bagels (especially their Green Chili Bagel) are very good. I order the Green Chili Bagel with egg, sausage and cheese, but have to ask them to pass the sandwich through the broiler twice, otherwise the cheese does not melt and is cold. Their bagel sandwiches for lunch, are really nothing special, standard lunchmeats and thin sliced generic cheeses, but the star of the show is the bagel, not the filling. Lunch sandwiches are served with your choice of potato salad, cole slaw or chips, with fruit or green salad being an extra 99 cents. Overall, a decent option for a bagel, though I would find a better deli if you are looking for a real good sandwich at lunchtime. They do need to work on getting the food out quicker to their customers during the morning rush hours, as most people are on their way to work or school, and don't have 15 minutes to wait for a single bagel to arrive (often I have seen the line and turned around and left, due to the fact I needed to get to work, and not be tardy.)

You come to expect a certain level of service at a chain this large. Like at some point when this franchise opened the doors a big huge binder should have arrived spelling out what service is expected at every single Einstein's on the planet. I don't think that binder ever got to this location. We arrived and waited while - four (count them - 4) girls were behind the coffee bar discussing schedules. They all saw us walk in. Two others closer to us, could see us at the 'order here' sign, looked right at us, kept talking about some critical supplies expected next week and then disappeared into the kitchen. Now I'm standing on my tippy-toes to break up the marathon convo going on and finally catch the eye of one of them. Thank goodness she finished her sentence before approaching me or i would have been upset. It's Sunday morning in residential Co Sprgs. People are coming here from church where I can only hope today's message from the pulpit was 'patience' because it will be tested today. Our orders arrive, they were good, the coffee fresh and all worthy of the corporation binder - they are reading - labeled 'product expectations'. We're now about to leave and the convo quartet managed to produce several orders while we were here and people have come and gone. Now all that is left are several tables of wrappers, cups, crumbs and smears. I'll bus my own table today so someone can have a clean table. There's no telling when the staff will get around to it.

Everything about this place is just average. Average bagels, breakfast food, coffee, schmear, atmosphere, etc. Service is slow in the morning and then in late morning gets even slower (weird). This would be a huge problem if the line were ever more than two people deep, but it's not. So, nothing majorly poor or exceptional to note about this place, it'll do for any run-of-the-mill breakfast stop.
